Contact me
(I live in Exeter, U.K.)
Preliminary notes — please read these before contacting me — thank you.
-
I've removed my telephone numbers and Skype ID from this site and so all initial contacts will have to be by my email contact form further below. In appropriate cases I'll give my telephone number / Skype ID by email.
N.B. I made this change NOT because I don't want anyone calling me — I actually welcomed the occasional friendly calls — but as a protection from people who seek to get free consultations from me and in the odd cases even regard me as a crisis counsellor or even a full crisis service including crisis accommodation (all free of course)! It's also a certain degree of protection against receiving abusive calls from people who don't care for what's on my websites (in particular, the Self-Realization one is especially challenging).
Also, unnecessary and unsolicited Skype communications are disruptive to my work at the computer, which is why I've had to limit Skype calls to 'contact list only'.
-
If the subject of your message is connected with my Clarity of Being site or its content (and that includes requests for me to carry out healings or removals of supposed 'entities', spirits or other troublesome manifestations), please do NOT use the contact form on this site but go to the Contact Me page for that site — and carefully read the notes there.
-
Please note that I'm NOT a personal 'travel advisor' on UK walking routes (or indeed travel or accommodation or local facilities) for members of the public, and I ask people NOT to contact me to get such a service from me.
A brief friendly chat between fellow walking or nature enthusiasts is one thing, but my having complete strangers contacting me to ask for a list of walking routes that are suitable for them is quite another! I spend masses of my time putting valuable information on my five websites to be freely available for the benefit of all, and I cannot reasonably be expected to spend the rest of my time giving a free personal advisory service.
- Similarly I'm NOT a personal advisor relating to photography or making sound recordings, so I ask people not to come to me for such advice.
-
I respond to all bona-fide emails received, with a few exceptions:
-
Abusive or otherwise troublesome messages.
-
People who are convinced that I've got things wrong and are trying to convert me to a particular belief system, whether it be a religious one or any variant of the materialist-reductionist belief system or simply some personal beliefs of their own.
-
People who are wanting to talk about or 'share' their problems with me (including any wish of theirs to commit suicide), or ask for advice about their problems. Such people please go to the Contact Me page on my Clarity of Being site and read the fuller notes there, which give all the initial pointers you need.
-
People who are wanting me to be a student of theirs or to be a follower of their favourite guru. (I look within myself and to my actual physical observations for answers and don't go chasing after other people's words and ideas.)
-
People who adopt dictatorial or parental stances towards me (commonly believing that they're being very loving towards me) and seek to give me advice on what I should be doing in my life or what would be for my own good.
-
Messages that are long and unparagraphed and unpunctuated, or are in BLOCK CAPITALS, which are thus extremely difficult to read (I give due warning about this!).
-
Messages referring me to a website or book (I don't waste my time following up those references).
-
Messages that are asking for my email address (or other contact details), without telling me precisely what they want to communicate.
-
Requests to place an ad on any of my pages.
-
Offers to supposedly increase traffic to this site. I regard these as spam and blacklist the senders in MailWasher, so that I don't receive further communications from them.
-
If you wish to email me, please use my email form below. I've now completely removed my email address from this site because even my displaying the address as an image eventually resulted in that address getting onto spammers' lists.
